Garena Philippines is a company that manage different games like League  of Legends. Last September 2017 they held an E-Sport Friendly Competetion in Far Eastern College Silang Cavite. Information Technology Society invited Garena Philippines to be part of their IT -Fest 2017 with the theme Experience Education Through Technology.

E-Sports

E-Sports also known as Electronic Sports is a form of  multiplayer video game that are mostly played by professional Gamers. Some well known E-sports in the world is Dota 2 and League of Legends. One on the Top Rank Teams on Dota 2 according to http://www.gosugamers.net/rankings are The Team Liquid,LGD, and Newbee while in League of Legends are SK Telecom T1, Royal Never Give Up, and Longzhu Gaming.
E-Sport is the new sport of these generations all you need is a computer or laptop to play it. Your mind and skills is all you need to enter this competition. You could start joining collegiate E-sports then improve your skill to win and be the representative of a country to international E-sports Competitions.

IT-Fest 2017

IT-Fest 2017 was held on FEU Cavite last September 2017. This is a 4 days celebration of Information Technology Society. They had seminars with freebies and prices from the sponsors. They had DevCon on the First Day, VR Philippines on the Second Day and Garena PH on the Third and Fourth Day.
IT Students enjoyed the seminars and E-Sports. They actively participated on LOL Live stream held on FEU Cavite Events Room. The Championship was the most intense part where the Non-IT Students fought with the IT Students but hopefully the Team Undecided won the match.

Information Technology society aims to  prove that technology can optimize the way of learning and improves ones skill. Even E-Sports can improve students strategical and logical skills.
